What’s changing and why
On Tuesday 27th October 2026, we changed our name from ‘Care ADHD’ to ‘Noodle’. We’re exactly the same team, with the same clinicians, delivering the same care – just with a new name and look. Nothing about your care is changing.
We chose Noodle because it’s a warm, human everyday word for the mind. You can read about this in more detail here.
When our team started out, we focused only on ADHD. We’ve since grown to offer autism and combined ADHD and autism assessments for children, with the same services set to launch for adults in early 2027. We needed a name that includes everyone we support today and those we expect to support in the future. We also kept hearing that a name with a diagnosis in it can make it harder to ask for help.
What this means for you
This guidance applies to everyone referred to, or currently receiving care from us – both adults (18+) and children and young people (6–18), across both private and NHS Right to Choose pathways.
Your care stays the same.
Everything carries on exactly the same as before – your clinician and clinical team, your appointments, your assessment and treatment plan, your place on the waiting list, your medication and prescriptions.Your referral is still valid.
Whether NHS or private, it’s arranged just as it was – you chose us as your provider, and that still stands.Your documents stay valid.
Anything you’ve already received or still receive over the coming months under the ‘Care ADHD’ name remains fully valid.Schools, employers and other organisations will accept Care ADHD documents.
Though our name has changed, we’re still the same legal organisation – so schools, employers and other organisations will still accept Care ADHD documents. We've written to the organisations we work with to let them know.Existing Shared Care agreements remain valid.
Nothing’s changed and there’s nothing you need to do.Your fees aren’t changing if you’re a private patient.
You don’t need to let your GP know.
We've written to GP practices and local NHS commissioners to explain the change. Letters issued as Care ADHD remain valid, and referrals are accepted under either name. If your GP has any questions, please ask them to contact us.

FAQs
I’m waiting for a reply from Care ADHD. Do I need to contact Noodle again?
This isn’t necessary. Messages sent to our old addresses will still reach us.
Will referrals made to Care ADHD automatically transfer to Noodle?
Yes. We’re the exact same organisation, just under a new name. That means any referral already made to us carries across automatically. You don’t need to do anything, and you don’t need to ask your GP to refer you again.
Will booking links and forms you’ve already sent me still work?
Your booking links and forms still work, and you don’t need to resend anything or start again. Old links redirect automatically to the right place.
Do you still have my information? Has it been passed to someone else?
Your information hasn't gone anywhere. We're the same organisation, so your records stay with us and are protected in exactly the same way. Nothing has been shared or transferred.
Are you still registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)?
Yes – the CQC regulates health services in England, and we’re no exception. We've updated our name on our existing registration, and nothing else has changed.
